Poem of the Week
May 2026
.jpg)
Early spring shimmies in
with a boisterous wren’s bubbling
burble, whole body staccato slur,
chattering wellspring of vibrato—
shaking off the morning dew
going through me, past
cells and breath, fingertips,
parting my light and sea,
onward towards you.
