About the event

Rebecca Woolf has worked as a personal essayist since her early teens, contributing to numerous publications, websites and anthologies, including her own award-winning personal blog, Girl’s Gone Child (est 2005) which attracted millions of unique visitors.  She has written columns for Babble, Mom.me, and Romper and has been featured in New York Magazine, The New York Times, NPR, Refinery29, LitHub and more. She currently authors the column Sex & the Single Mom and the braid newsletter on substack and co-writes the column Girl on Girl on the rumpus. She also co-teaches The Living Gaze grief writer’s workshop, Write the Marrow, a workshop on truth-telling and The Bench Sessions, a private community for women contemplating divorce.  She is the author of Rockabye: From Wild to Child (Seal Press, 2008) and the bestselling memoir, ALL OF THIS: a memoir of death and desire (Harper One, 2022).
